The name of this fashion accessory means "small boat" in Spanish and, in the beginning, it was a hat essentially worn by men, particularly by Venetian gondoliers, the town of lovers. Nowadays, this hat for men and for women as well has come again into fashion thanks to designer houses which dare to reinvent this fashion accessory.
